The European F3 Open kicks-off this weekend in the Circuit de Valencia and with no less than 21 entries, the season-opener is expected to be extremely interesting. The entry list includes fourteen Dallaras F308 and seven Dallaras F306. The latter will be participating, as usual, in the Cup.
Cedars, who won the Formula 3title last year with Marco Barba, is back with two cars, one for Noel Jammal, who conquered the 2010 Cup, andanother onefor the Danish Pilot Johan Jokinen. The teams with most racingcars will be Italy's RP Motorsport, with five cars for David Fumanelli, Niccolò Schirò, Matteo Beretta, Matteo Davenia,and Francisco Díaz, and UK's Team West-Tec, with four units for F3 pilotsVictor Correa, Fabio Gamberini, Sam Dejonghe,and Luca Orlandi.
Drivex will be present with two F308 for Fernando Monje and Luis Villalba and one F306 for Pedro Quesada, while Emilio de Villota Motorsport will enter two F308 for Mexico's Juan Carlos Sistos and the recently-confirmed Nil Montserrat. The F3 pilotToño Fernández will be back this year with a car of Hache Team, while the Cup driver for this squad is still to be confirmed.
Italian squad Corbetta Competizioni is making its debut in the series this year, with two cars for Alex Fontana and Matteo Torta, while France's Top F3 is present with theyoung American formula 3driver Jesús Ríos.
