SPA was not the last race for Moises. While everyone thought it was the end, Sorino proved otherwise thanks to his talent and the School of Profiltek Karting Circuit joined with the effort of Cedars, he will be able to participate in the remaining races of the season. Meanwhile, Noel Jammal continues, in Valencia, preparing for Brands Hatch and Paul Ricard races, increasingly sensitive to his car. Matteo Beretta will seek to improve his performance in these next few races, while Alex Toril, with his 15 years, continues to grow after each race.
Cedars team is prepared to face the next two races (Brands Hatch and Paul Ricard) with their four drivers Noel Jammal, Matteo Beretta, Moises and Alex Soriano Toril.
Noel Jammal, improved his results at Spa, especially in the race. While continuing his training in Valencia, he tried to get the most out of his car in the qualifying sessions. The results are evident, and the pilot, as far as his physical condition and driving technics are concerned, he made great progress, after doing a track test for three hours, trying to find new solutions for both engineering and piloting, and completing with a simulator session of 2 hours.
Noel: "It is my third race at Brans Hatch. It is a very technical track, but i had two victory over there in the past and this makes me want to repeat this experience. At Paul Ricard, it would be my second participation: it is a very long circuit, but I'm sure I can win as i did in the Winter Series in the early season. "
Matteo Beretta looks forward for the next races in Brands Hatch and Paul Ricard. He will find the key to a good timing in the qualifying session, that will enable him to be where, he and his car, have already shown they can be. In the previous race at Spa, he scored the best lap partial in the first and third sector of the race, and a very acceptable time in the second sector. The bad luck did not materialize the good timings on the same lap, which prevented him to be among the top three.
Toril Alex has managed to take a big step forward after the qualifying session of the race in Spa, and must continue with his education and growth as a driver. We should remember that he's only 15 years old and already suggested in many ways that he have a champion touch. He also participated in the previous sessions of the simulator that the team has prepared for racing at Brands Hatch and Paul Ricard. In this training will receive, like the other pilots, the advice of his coach, Alvaro Barba, who plays this role in the team since the beginning of the 2012 season.
Soriano Moises, and after his great performance at Spa and the support and efforts of the Cedars team managed to enter Profiltek Circuit Karting School, with whom he came to an agreement to participate with the team in the five remaining races of the championship. The pilot will sign a contract that promises to donate 5% of the income perceived as professional to the School of Karting Valencia circuit, in order to further promote the sport and thus help to young drivers coming from karting.
Moises: "I am very happy. I think they've assessed the results I obtained, considering how little I've ridden. I thank Cedars team and the School of Karting Profiltek Valencia circuit ver much for giving me this opportunity. And I am very comfortable in my communication with every member of my team. "
Marco Rodriguez:
"The truth is that I am reasonably satisfied with the progress taken by the team. With Noel, i noticed that we are about to find the key to overcome these tenths of seconds that he needs to win. Matteo has almost everything, and just needs to do good timings. Toril Alex continues to step forward in completing his training, something that is is being noticed. And I think Moises is a joy for all Valencia's grassroots sport, and that is, seeing a young man with few resources yet big talent and good work, making headway in this difficult world of racing.
But honestly all of the above is in the background compared to the sadness we all feel faced with the difficult situation that has happened to our dear friend Maria de Villota. God help her and her family. "
Cedars team sympathizes with Mary Villota and his family and wishes her a fast and good recovery.
