In the qualifying tests saturday morning, Moises was very clear about his intentions for the race, getting the pole position of the European Cup F-3 and finishing fifth on the grid, a result that foreshadowed what would happen little later in the race itself. Noel Jammal finished 12th, Matteo Beretta 9th and Alex Boquoi 15th ( 6th in class C).
Moises race started well and retrieved at fourth place in ranking, although shortly he returns one place to stay in the top five of the test. Without committing even one error he faught against experts who hold much more experience than him in this field. Due to an accident, a safety car made it possible for Beretta to overtake Moises, who responded by recovering his fifth position, in an impressive performancethat granted him his victory in the European Cup F-3.
Moises Soriano: “I'm happy and it doesn't affect me at all that it's my last performance for this season, for lack of funds. I'm enjoying what I'm doing and that is important for my future progress.
I dedicate this victory to my family, the School of Karting Circuit Profiltek and of course to all who had faith in me.”
The rest of the team members have improved substantially and the only casualty Alex Toril's accidente that obliged him to stop the race. Matteo Beretta finished in sixth place behind Noel Jammal, who was the fastest of all drivers on the track in sectors one and three.
Great start for Noel and Matteo, Noel winning 3 places at the first corner, and even at some point 6 places fighting for 6-7 with Matteo, who won two places.
Cedars finishes in 5-6 and 7th positions.
All in all, it was a very surprising race with lots of turning points and exiting fights.
