Cedars Auto Sport is a Lebanese Racing team belonging to Youssef Jammal. Founded in 2010, the racing team competes in the European F3 Open Championship, in collaboration with the Circuit of Valencia.

For its first season, Cedars Auto Sport made outstanding debuts in the F3 European Open by winning the Teams, Championship, as well as both drivers'championships with the Dallara F308 driven by the F3 pilot Marco Barba and the Dallara F306 driven by the motor sport racer Noel Jammal.

TEAM
Team Manager: Marco Rodriguez
Marco has an experience of more than 13 years in high level motor sports, as General and Sports Director of Valencia track’s Pilots school. He also lead Campos Racing Team in Spanish and European Championships, building an impressive Palmares: 1st in 2005 and 2006 F3 championship, 1st 2000, 2002 and 2004 Formula Junior 1.6 and Formula Toyota 1.3
Marco is also the Manager of several pilots from the new generation, among which Marco Barba (European F3 Champion) and Alvaro Barba (International Open GT Champion).
Marco joined Cedars in September 2011.

TECHNICAL STAFF
Each car racing is managed by a dedicated engineer, backed by technicians, all of which have significant experience in European Motor Sport championships.

Development and Race Engineer Car 1: Mehdi Ahmadi
The story of Mehdi and Motor Sports started more than 20 years ago with his Engineering studies in Cranfield University where he graduated with a Masters and PhD of Engineering in Aerodynamics. Following his prestigious studies, Mehdi worked more than 15 years in Motor Racing as Tunnel and Senior Aerodynamicist, followed by Race and Track engineer. Between 2003 and 2011, Mehdi occupied several positions in BMW-Sauber Formula 1 team, becoming Race and Aero-Performance Engineer.

Race Engineer Car 2: Pedro Vilches Pacheco
Pedro has more than 8 years experience in Motor Sport. He was race engineer and technical Director in several motor sports championships such as F3 and FR2.0. He built a strong palmares being F3 open Champion with Campos racing (2006-2009) and Cedars AutoSport in 2010.

Consultant: Luis Perez-Sala
Luis contested and won races in the Italian Formula 3 Championship and Formula 3000 between 1985 and 1987. He was runner-up to Stefano Modena in the 1987 F3000 championship. Luis joined Formula One with Minardi in 1988. He immediately outpaced team-mate Adrián Campos, who was replaced by Pierluigi Martini. At the end of 1989 this season he left Formula One, having started 32 Grands Prix and arriving at the 6th position in the British GP. Since then, he has been a regular in the Spanish touring car championship and a consultant for F1 and F3 teams.

Luis is the Team Manager of the Spanish Formula 1 team, Hispania Racing Team (HRT)

Luis is part of Cedars since the beginning, in 2010, as Sports Director and pilots coach.
